BACKGROUND CHECKS:
For the protection of your child, it is Rock Creek's policy to carefully screen our volunteers. We conduct a background check on all workers that serve in our Children's Ministry.

CHECK-IN SYSTEM:
Rock Creek has an electronic Children’s Security Check-In System. We are excited to provide this system for you and your child! If you are a first time visitor to Rock Creek, below is an outline of what to expect from this system and how it will work when you arrive at the Check-In Station.

HOW DO I CHECK IN MY CHILD?
If you are a FIRST time guest, please check in your child at the Children's Ministry Aquarium just off the Town Square. Whether you are a SECOND time guest or a REGULAR attender, children's check in area is located off of the Town Square in front of the Children's Area.

When you arrive at the Check-In Station, a volunteer will ask you the last four digits of your telephone number. The volunteer will verify your child’s age and/or grade, and the address information we have on file for you. A name tag will print for each of your children, as well as a pick-up tag for you. There will be a code on the name tag along with their name and other important information (ie, food allergies). The code (and the date) will also be on your pick-up tag.

Your pick-up tag will not have your child’s name on it. For the security of your child, if you happen to lose this tag, no one will be able to know what child is associated with the tag. However, if you do lose your tag, go to the Department Director when the service is over and present your driver’s license to check out your child.

The Check-In Stations will close down 15 minutes after the service begins. Children will not be able to enter a classroom without a security tag. This will allow for fewer interruptions in the classrooms and more teaching time.
